Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

How do I become a member at Wellspring?

A person interested in membership attends a WCC membership class, joins a Small Group, and Serves in a WCC ministry.

WCC membership class is a three hour class, which gives you a solid understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. WCC membership class is offered several times each year. It discusses the history of the WCC, describes a disciple of Jesus Christ, and explains church government, baptism, communion and the commitments of members of WCC.

The prospective member will receive, at the completion of the WCC membership class, a membership application form. Once the application for membership is received the next step is a Membership Interview. During the meeting with a church leader, the prospective member shares testimony of conversion to Christ and asks any remaining questions about the church. The individual's name then is placed in the bulletin for two consecutive weeks. If there are no concerns raised by the Elders, the individual is officially welcomed in as a member at a WCC service.
