Prayer Power

Oftentimes, it is so easy for us to get caught up in our daily lives, our ongoing real-world struggles and pleasures, that we forget the importance of getting down on our knees to pray.

Prayer is powerful!  Prayer is a vital opportunity for all of us to communicate with God, to tell Him that we love Him and to invite him to be part of our personal decision-making processes. Prayer also allows God to speak to us as well. We can discover God’s will for our lives through prayer.

Jesus’ disciples never asked Him to teach them to do miracles or to preach. They did, however, ask Him to teach them to pray. They saw that His prayer life (communication with God) was the power behind His ability to perform great miracles and to be a master teacher. They wanted that power and we believe in the power of prayer at Wellspring Community Church.

WCC believes that developing a prayer life is essential to a growing disciple of Christ.

The Bible tells us.... Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.    1 Thessalonians 5:16-18  (NIV)

Prayer Meeting

Wellspring Community Church offers a Prayer Meeting every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm and encourages prayer in all of our small groups.  Please join us for an inspiring time of prayer and fellowship!
